Nostepinne

The nostepinne, Norwegian for nest-stick, is a very old tool for winding center-pull balls of yarn. At 11 inches (28cm) long it is compact enough for your travel knitting or crochet bag so you can wind yarn wherever you go! It is easily big enough for for a ball of chunky yarn.

It comes with instructions that are easy to follow. You can also find many videos online or come in to the store for a demonstration. The wood is comfortable in the hand with a smooth finish that has just a bit of grab. You don't want your yarn ball in progress to fall off!
