The Fala Shawl by Maia Discoe of Maia Knits is the newest pattern from the Acorn Design Collective - a group of local indie designers brought together by The Black Squirrel for publishing help and resource sharing. It features a worsted weight self-striping yarn paired with a solid color, creating striking graphic stacks of stripes. It also has a special decorative cast-on created by Maia, and she's created a helpful tutorial for it as well!
